Active Matter Fire Walk Update
The first major drop: Dam, contested Dogorsk, titan XL, and the monster roster later patches still assume.
Fire Walk launched 18 December 2025 as Active Matter’s first major update after Early Version. Every later recap on this wiki assumes it. Dam exists because of this patch. Dogorsk left Isolated-only play. Isolated access moved onto editions instead of tickets, and leftover tickets converted to Crystallised Active Matter at 1:25. Titan plates, XL size, EDH-Gen V and TFMK-I headsets, Shy Girl, Scorch, Mimic Car, Fireball, and Fire all arrived here. Gigastructure and 250 Shades of Liberty stacked on top. They did not roll the armor rules back.
This page is the baseline, not a museum. If a 2025 clip still shows raid tickets or plates that shatter at zero durability, ignore the clip. Bind controls again after any Fire Walk-era note — the patch reset binds on purpose when radials landed.
Dam, Dogorsk, and Isolated access
Dam is the hydroelectric spine on Dalniy Island: catwalks, turbine halls, a submarine frozen over the lake. Long guns work on the dam face. Compact guns work inside. Dogorsk opened to Open PvPvE. Distorted grow pale spikes out of plaster there; later patches added Alpha Mimic spawns. Isolated Headquarters is still the budget farm. Isolated access now scales with edition. Standard raids. Advanced and Premium buy more Isolated headroom. Do not buy Elite Squad to unlock a ticket that no longer exists.
Cases under the Investigations terminal started here. One primary contract remains: it does not block extraction, it keeps its rewards, and it does not pay Monolith Tokens. Daily contracts and key contracts sit under it. That contract shape is still live. Read raid types for Isolated versus Open and later Unstable Zone / Collapse modes.
Armor, sleeves, and the guns that defined the meta
Armor stopped being a binary break. Plates and helmets that hit zero durability take a permanent max-durability cut even after you repair them, stay marked broken, and still give a sliver of protection. Titan is the expensive, durable option that absorbs a bit less on the first hits than ceramic. XL size exists. EDH-Gen V and TFMK-I put active headsets on the helmet slot: they suppress loud noise and raise quiet noise. That is why Open Factory kits on armor still call for those two helmets.
Body Sleeves gained extra versions behind tasks. Modified gear — more accurate guns, roomier backpacks — started dropping in raids. Western weapons appeared on Dalniy as rare timeline bleed, which is why a suppressed SCAR-L on the island is a tell, not a farm plan. Farm NATO on Downtown after 250 Shades.
New named guns that still show up on the weapon tier list: M249 Para, Origin-12, RPG-7, SVDM, AEK-971, AN-94, PP-19-01, M9 Tactical with a suppressor slot. Zeroing landed with PgUp / PgDn. Muzzle brakes, 1P78 2.8×, PBS-4, and SV-98 suppressors expanded the rail. PBS-1 fits AKM and Vepr-KM VPO. PBS-4 fits 5.45 AK-74M / AKS-74U. Raid guns more often spawn with mods already seated.
Monsters that still kill greedy Isolated runs
Shy Girl, Scorch, Mimic Car, Fireball, and Fire are Fire Walk creatures. Mimics gained the ability to possess objects and stopped stacking inside props. Later patches (Gigastructure, 250 Shades) added Alpha Flowerman, Tentacle, exploding Alpha Mimics, and American Flowermen variants. The how to beat anomalies page is the live bestiary. This recap is why fire and object-suspicion exist in the first place.
Gameplay that still matters: special hitmarks on effective hits, a unique Beacon slot that auto-activates on death instead of a placeable charge, spawn-point choice in a short radius after an unassisted spawn, edition storage bonuses that no longer stack with cash upgrades but do persist through self-sacrifice. Healing got faster; AI-2 ampules and large kits restore more. Active Matter itself became a storage item. Some Replicator recipes moved to Refiner synthesis. Chronogene tier-up recipes started here; later patches changed how Tier III charges work — see Shelter and Monolith.
UI that still defines the HUD: compass at the top, hold T for the heal radial, hold G for grenades, hold Y for nearby-plus-squad quick chat, hold K for quick actions. Voice status on the teammate widget. Raid select gained Access Level and type filters (PvP, Solo, Co-op, Nexus). Those binds are why the controls page exists.
After Fire Walk, Isolated Dam or Isolated Headquarters is the honest next queue, not Open Dogorsk with a PASGT. Then read Gigastructure for Park and Harmonization, and 250 Shades of Liberty for the city. The updates hub is the index. The beginner guide still owns hour one. Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
When did Fire Walk ship?
18 December 2025. It is the first major Active Matter update. Dam, Open Dogorsk, titan plates, and Isolated edition gating all start here.
Do raid tickets still exist?
No. Isolated access moved onto editions. Old tickets converted to CAM at 1:25. Do not buy a ticket pack from a 2025 screenshot.
Do armor plates still break at zero durability?
They take a permanent max-durability cut, stay marked broken, and keep a sliver of protection. Titan and XL arrived in this patch. Live numbers are on armor.
Which monsters did Fire Walk add?
Shy Girl, Scorch, Mimic Car, Fireball, and Fire. Mimics can possess objects. Later Alphas and biome Flowermen are on later recaps and how to beat anomalies.
Did this patch reset my keybinds?
Yes, on purpose, when radials landed. Rebind heal (hold T), grenades (hold G), and map (M) from controls before you take plates into Open.
